Yesterdaze - Self proclaimed Punch-Rock pioneers based in Norway
Four snot noses with the goal of tearing down all venues before them whilst creating a home for all who feels lost in Todaze society.
Oslo's self-proclaimed Duracell-Cannons are elevating the Norwegian rock scene with their unique punch-rock genre and are bringing their upcoming debut album with them to their biggest tour yet in 2024.
Inspired by rock giants like Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Biffy Clyro, and IDLES, Yesterdaze offers irresistible stadium-rock sing-alongs wrapped in wild Norwegian punk energy.
In 2023, the rock quartet went on their first Norway tour, warmed up for De Staat, produced their debut album, and got over 100,000 views on their last two singles 'Don't Bother' and 'Know No Better.'
One of this year's singles, 'F.M.K.,' put them on the rock map when drummers from Oslo Ess, The Dogs, and Leprous' Bård Kolstad did their versions of the intro on social media, opening people's eyes and ears to Yesterdaze.
With a 'we're going to damn well kill you' attitude, highly competent performance, and memorable songs, Yesterdaze makes their concerts a must-see experience regardless of genre preference.
Just take the word of Metal Hammer Norway's Editor-in-Chief, Espen Nørvåg Slapgård: 'Yesterdaze delivers the perfect combination of strong catchy songs and insane punch! When they also manage to serve up songs that hit you right in the face from the get-go and still hold your interest after a double-digit number of listens, I'm completely sold!'
About Yesterdaze: With a vocalist and lyricist from Iceland/Kongsberg, a drummer from Narvik, a guitarist from Tønsberg, and a bassist from Skui, it was destined to be strong personalities meeting in the studio and rehearsal room. This is precisely what has made Yesterdaze one of the most exciting rock bands from Oslo's underground scene in recent times. In November 2022, they released their debut EP 'Act U All' with the record label Indie Recordings, to good reviews, and took the songs on a Norway tour. On June 21, they released their summer anthem 'Beehive,' which adorned the music magazine Gaffa and made it onto prestigious playlists like New Music Daily and Breaking Rock on Apple Music. The debut album 'Sentences' will be released on November 1, 2024.
